LOUIS XV GOES TO SPARTA is an armchair designed by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman.

“Imagine Louis XV transforming the spartan austerity of marble into a soft and comfortable French sensation.”

This plywood and polyurethane foam armchair is lined with an internal Dacron cover, and the external silk and polyester upholstery is printed to look like Carrara marble. Soft and welcoming, despite appearing otherwise.

Designer

Maurizio Galante & Tal Lancman

In 2003, the designer Maurizio Galante with the trend forecast analyst and designer Tal Lancman created the INTERWARE company. Their vision crosses the different disciplines: fashion, design, interiors design, architecture and landscape design.

The duo revisits "tradition" with a whole new vision. The process translates into a multifaceted concept, with a subtle balance between pragmatic and irrational.

Their philosophy is to offer a series of objects with an expressive, fun and stimulating design that keep company with their pleasant presence.
