SAMER ALAMEEN

SAMER ALAMEEN
This eclectic Lebanese designer with a brilliant past in the world of advertising moved to Italy after first meeting with success in the field of design, so in love with the world of "made in Italy" that he wanted to become a part of it.  "A chair changed my life". His debut as a designer in Lebanon occurred the launch of his first collection, Walking Objects, inspired by the Khayzaran chair, which he recreated in steel to give it greater value and resistance. The chair immediately became a part of the history of Lebanese design. When he arrived in Italy, fascinated by the beauty and elegance of Italian craftsmanship and by the vast choice of natural materials for his creations, the first of which was marble, he resumed his studies and confirmed his place as a highly appreciated designer all around the world.  "Everything has already been created , today there are only beautiful stories that remain in the past."   Inspired by history, precious memories and a sense of tradition, he reinvents the objects he creates: his process is smart, concise and refined, adding a new level of purpose and context where it is appropriate to intersect exclusively handmade pieces, unique pieces, and those that are industrially produced.
