TERSICORE is a leather cord necklace with an antique XIX century cameo representing a lady finely dressed as in depictions of classical Greece: Terpsichore. An eternal message of harmony and love for arts comes from this one-of-a-kind cameo necklace totally designed and handmade in Italy.
Mother of the Sirens, Terpsichore was one of the nine muses and goddess of dance
and chorus. Her name means “delighting in dance” and, in art, she's usually represented holding a lyre, accompanying the dancers with her music. Her delicate profile, finely engraved in this shell cameo original from 1860, is framed and exalted by a balanced alternation of black onyx, mother of pearl, and sterling silver.
It is possible to customise the necklace.
