Shipping to the UK

Since the UK is no longer part of the EU, all products imported into the United Kingdom are subject to British customs regulations and taxation systems.

Please note that all orders shipped to the UK are dispatched under DAP (Delivered at Place) incoterm. 

What does this mean for you? The total amount paid at checkout on Design Italy covers only the cost of the items and the shipping fees. It does not include UK Import VAT, Customs Duties, or courier administrative clearance fees.

As the importer of record, the customer is responsible for all import taxes and duties. When your order arrives in the UK, the shipping courier will contact you to collect these charges before finalising the delivery.

Failure to pay these duties will result in the package being returned to our warehouse, and return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.
