DESIGN ITALY SUPPORTS THE WORLD
OF CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY

Never before has the creative sector sought new ways to communicate, expand the market and reach customers. Technology is playing an important role in this game. Italy also defends its space in the global geography of the sector and has organized itself to be able to enjoy these new opportunities. Among the first national companies to take action is Design Italy, the marketplace reserved for the sale of design products and Italian creativity.
Launched commercially at the end of 2020, the digital platform now operates on the markets of 100 countries, presenting 140 brands including big names (Cassina, Driade, Poltrona Frau, Martinelli Luce) and independent creatives. Since its inception, Design Italy has reserved a space for art by cataloging a small selection of works by Italian photographers.
"A positive experiment that led us to expand the catalog and to mature the idea of forging an alliance with authoritative realities, able to bring their specific know-how into our world" – explains Roberto Ferrari, founder of Design Italy.
Design Italy has become the official e-commerce of the MIA Fair 2023 edition (23-26 March).
To celebrate this agreement, during the days of the Fair, Design Italy will be present in two spaces of Superstudio Maxi. In the bar and lounge area will be presented, with a careful setting, furnishing elements available on e-commerce signed by Serralunga, BBB and Fas Pendezza. In addition, in the exhibition area Design Italy will be present with a stand in which a photograph of Malena Mazza will be displayed on a large lightbox.
