La serigrafía LA MELA forma parte del proyecto "La Serie della Natura" de Enzo Mari, maestro del diseño italiano, para crear múltiples obras de arte íntegramente hechas en Italia.

Los temas son imágenes de la vida cotidiana simplificadas para convertirse en símbolos, reproducidas desde 1961 en la serie de serigrafías. De estos 17 temas de 1984, algunos se presentan en un formato más pequeño que la edición original. Hoy en día se vuelve a utilizar este formato, 50x70 cm, perfecto para llevar estas serigrafías icónicas hasta en los espacios más pequeños. Serigrafía a 2 colores sobre papel drop jet gr. 200.

Designer

Enzo Mari

Enzo Mari, nacido en Novara en 1932, trabaja en diferentes direcciones, desde gráficos hasta diseño y arquitectura.

En 2002, la Facultad de Arquitectura del Politécnico de Milán le otorgó un título honorario en diseño industrial.

El diseño es solo diseño si comunica conocimiento

Sus obras se exhiben en la Bienal de Venecia, la Trienal de Milán, el Schloss Charlottenburg en Berlín, el M.I.C. de Faenza, en la Galería Nacional de Arte Moderno en Roma, y en el MoMA en Nueva York.

Por la calidad de su investigación, recibió muchos premios, incluyendo cuatro Compasso d'Oro.
