SHIPPING TIMES AND METHODS, TRACKING

 

Design Italy guarantees a safe and punctual shipping service in over 150 countries around the world thanks to a careful selection of partners, couriers and international forwarding agents, starting with DHL, our primary courier. The selection also includes specialized international freight couriers for furniture items, bulky orders and jewellery, so that everything arrives in perfect condition and on time. Our customer focus comes first.

From the place of production of the  item you purchased  to your address, your orders will be tracked and delivered on schedule.

Shipping costs may be charged to the customer. In this case, they are always indicated in the order summary at check out, before your payment confirmation.

Once you have made a purchase, you will receive an email with the summary and all the details of the order.

Shipping times vary depending on the product purchased and the delivery area. Several items are available and ready for shipment in 24h / 48h, others are made to order or customized. We recommend that you always check the information on shipping times in the product sheet.

Custom made products or made specifically for you may require longer deliver times, which will be estimated by the Customer Care, which will keep you updated during the processing stages and will inform you when your item is ready to be shipped. When the order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail from DESIGNITALY.COM and DHL or from another carrier with the tracking number and a link to check the status of your shipping.

DESIGNITALY.COM normally carries out roadside deliveries. If you are interested in the Concierge service, for deliveries to front door and / or assembly and handling of large of oversized items, please contact the Personal Concierge service concierge@designitaly.com, for a feasibility check and quotation.

All deliveries made by DESIGNITALY.COM are insured against theft and damage from accidents. Once the delivery is picked up and confirmed by signature, the insurance coverage expires.

With DHL's ON DEMAND DELIVERY service you can choose the delivery date.

For bulky deliveries we will choose the freight forwarder who is able to meet our required quality standards. Also in this case you can monitor the progress of your shipment.

DESIGNITALY.COM ships to all parts of the European Union. All shipments to countries outside the European Union, as required by customs procedures, are accompanied by an official invoice declaring the value of the individual items. The possible cost of taxes and duties will be communicated by the competent customs office and is, unless otherwise indicated, charged to the end customer.

DESIGN ITALY is not responsible for any delays due to customs operations and controls, or due to force majeure beyond our control.

Please bear in mind that in Italy the following days are holidays and couriers do not ship:

1st January, 6th January, Easter and Easter Monday, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June, 15th August, 1st November, 8th December, 25th December, 26th December

 

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

 

CUSTOMER PROTECTION

With Design Italy customers are guaranteed the opportunity to return the purchased items free of charge within 14 days from the date of delivery  in case of defects and production defects and in case of change of mind.

In addition, the products are insured by Design Italy against theft and damage during shipment until the moment of delivery to the customer.

In order to take advantage of free shipping, the shipment of returned products must be made with the courier indicated by Design Italy.

To start the return procedure, contact our Customer Care service by writing an email to customercare@designitaly.com within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day you receive the products (in the case of the purchase of more products, the delivery date is always referred to each single product).

Once your return has been received, verified and accepted, you will receive the refund due via the same payment method chosen at your check out, including standard shipping costs (costs for additional services are excluded).
