Con forma hexagonal y grabado en esmalte dorado, el plato base PALATINA fue diseñado en 2020 por Gabriele D'Angelo para KIMANO y producido en Italia.
Es a la vez un plato y una pieza central que representa siglos de tradiciones culturales y decorativas que en Sicilia han creado una riqueza de formas, estilos y decoraciones inigualables en el mundo.
Este plato se inspiró en la capilla Palatina de Palermo, de ahí su nombre. Palatino se caracteriza por sus decoraciones de inspiración normanda-bizantina, grabadas sobre mármol con acabado brillante.
