Uno de los best-sellers mundiales de Cassina, el 4 Chaise Longue à reglage continu es el chaise longue por excelencia, diseñado en 1928 y basado en una exploración en profundidad de las sillas reclinables.

Los tres diseñadores idearon el LC4 como expresión del concepto de relajación, centrándose en la figura humana, reflejando el vínculo entre forma y función en el equilibrio entre pureza geométrica e intención ergonómica. La estabilidad de la tumbona, cualquiera que sea el ángulo de inclinación, la garantizan los tubos de goma que recubren los travesaños del armazón subyacente.

Al igual que con LC1, LC2 y LC 3, el LC4 se basa en mediciones derivadas del Modulor. Hoy este modelo se propone en la versión “full black”, con base, estructura y tapizado negros.
