Antonia Astori

Antonia Astori gründete Driade 1968 zusammen mit ihrem Bruder Enrico und Adelaide Acerbi.

Neben dem Möbeldesign spielte sie die Rolle der Projektkoordinatorin und baute ein einzigartiges Netzwerk aus Möbeldesign, Ausstellungen und Geschäften auf.

Sie entwarf die Vorläufer-Containment-Systeme Oikos I, Oikos II und Pantos. Zu diesen Systemen verbindet Antonia Astori das Design von Einzelstücken, bei denen das Wohngefühl immer im Mittelpunkt steht.

In diesem Sinne entwarf sie Aforismi, die San Souci Collection und später den Virginia Schreibtisch und das Eileen Bücherregal.
