DESIGN ITALY IN THE WORLD
ASPEN
Everyone knows Aspen as a renowned mountain tourism destination and a significant ski center in the state of Colorado, USA. It is an international destination for entertainment, art, business, and intellectual conversation. A blend of charm, sophistication, and romance, thanks to its fabulous mountains that provide an ideal backdrop for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and then relaxation in luxurious spas or cozy atmospheres by the fireplace.
But few know that this place has a long history: starting from the 1800s, it was initially a major mining center for the search for gold and silver, later evolving into an important cultural hub with initiatives like the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies and the Aspen Music Festival and School.
DINING ROOM
The town is named after the abundance of dense groves of quaking aspen trees that form the backdrop to the landscape. Wood is the protagonist material in Aspen's architecture and environments.
Renowned architects, such as the Japanese Shigeru Ban, have made possible, through their works, a harmonious relationship between architecture and its surroundings.
Many famous interior designers, including Joe McGuire, Matthew Tenzin, Alison Agley, Carrera Shea, Margarita Bravo, Anne Grice, Robyn Scott, Kari Whitman, Karen White, Jennifer Bunsa, to name a few, have artfully reproduced that typical "alpine lodge lifestyle" atmosphere that everyone dreams of, designing modern retreats ideal for nature lovers.
This is how we imagine a home in Aspen: modern and refined, with plenty of wood on the floor and walls, leather furnishings, patterns, and accents reminiscent of local nature and fauna.
LIVING AREA
There will be a space dedicated to games and evening entertainment after dinner with friends.
A Living Area for gathering and conversation, adorned with unique wooden and cardboard Christmas
trees and other original decorations for the upcoming Christmas season.
