Stilnovo
Designer Italian Lighting - decades of success, as confirmed by the company's many lamps and light fixtures displayed in the most important international museums.
Milanese lighting company Stilnovo was established in 1946 by Bruno Gatta. Its participation at the Milan Triennale exhibition a year later led to collaborations with prominent 20th-century Italian design masters, including the Castiglioni brothers, Joe Colombo, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Antonio Macchi Cassia, De Pas D’Urbino Lomazzi, Danilo and Corrado Aroldi.
Experimentation with new materials and forms lies at the core of the company's lighting design approach.
Stilnovo took a hiatus at the end of the 1980s. The company was relaunched in 2019 by Linea Light Group, a global leader in LED lighting, with numerous reissues of historical designs, and continues to make its mark on the lighting industry.
