Designer Italian Lighting
Milanese lighting company Stilnovo was founded in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and its participation at the Milan Triennale exhibition a year later led to the company's collaborations with 20th-century masters of Italian design, including the Castiglioni brothers, Joe Colombo, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Antonio Macchi Cassia, De Pas D’Urbino Lomazzi, Danilo and Corrado Aroldi.
At the heart of the company's production methods is experimentation with new materials and forms in their lighting designs.
After decades of success, as confirmed by the company's many lamps and light fixtures displayed in the most important of international museums, Stilnovo took a hiatus at the end of the 1980s.
The company was relaunched in 2019 by Linea Light Group, a world leader in LED lighting, with many reissues of historical designs and continues to make its mark on the lighting industry.
