Serralunga
Italian company Serralunga was founded in 1825 in the Piedmont city of Biella, and started out producing leather goods. Since then, the company has blended the traditions of the past and new technologies to create outdoor vases, furnishings, accessories, and lighting.
In 1935 the company began working with gutta-percha and rubber, and in 1959 they introduced plastic injection moulding. A few years later, they switched to rotational moulding, making the company the first in Europe to use the technology.
Leading designers like Ron Arad, Aldo Cibic, Michele De Lucchi, Rodolfo Dordoni, Naoto Fukasawa, Zaha Hadid, Philippe Starck, Ettore Sottsass, Karim Rashid, Jean-Marie Massaud and many others have contributed to the company’s success as a brand.
Serralunga has made a name for itself around the world and is a leader in the production of iconic, oversized, colourful vases and unique indoor and outdoor furnishings. All of Serralunga’s products are 100% recyclable, highly resistant to temperature changes (-35 to +80 degrees Celsius), wear and tear, UV rays, and salt spray.
Today, Serralunga is a world leader in the production of furniture and accessories, oversized and illuminated vases, all primarily for outdoor use.
