Thanks to the partnership, Design Italy has further expanded its offering of luxury Italian design.

The agreement is part of a definite trend in the sector, which has seen strong growth in online sales around the world. Italy, which has the highest global market share in the luxury segment (estimated at 25%), thus has ample room for expansion. This development is confirmed by Design Italy's financial figures: since it was founded in 2019, it has recorded solid and steady growth, doubling its turnover in 2022 with another doubling of €3 million expected in 2023, with the partnership with Cassina being an important contribution.

Roberto Ferrari, founder of Design Italy, says he is pleased with the partnership as the company continues to aim at partnering with other prestigious companies in the sector.

Cassina and Design Italy joined forces based on a shared vision of luxury retail focused on innovation and attention to sustainability issues. Research on the impact of production processes, durability, and quality of materials are all important requirements for design brands to be present on Design Italy, and Cassina has long directed its work in this sense, developing products that combine beauty, circularity and well-being.
