Enzo Mari - Design Italy

Designer

Enzo Mari

Enzo Mari, born in Novara in 1932, works in different directions, from graphics to design and architecture.

In 2002 the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic awarded him an honorary degree in industrial design.

Design is only design if it communicates knowledge

His works are exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Milan Triennale, the Schloss Charlottenburg in Berlin, the M.I.C. of Faenza, at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, and at the MoMA in New York.

For the calibre of his research, he was awarded many prizes including four Compasso d'Oro.
