This chair was designed in 1984 by the most famous French designer, Philippe Starck, for the most famous French café: “Café Costes” in Paris.

This Philippe Starck stackable chair is comfortable and solid: the ideal chair for a café. Suitable for any space, it can easily match with various materials. Its elegant curving back recalls cultured images as well as homespun memories through its soft and alluring effects.

The café chair has a structure in steel tubing painted in metallic silver gloss. The seat is in lasten: latex rubber and polypropylene belting in black.

A set of 6 belts is ideal for replacing a chair seat. The elastic straps in lasten can be slipped off and re-installed from the chair legs.
