In 2019, IN SENSU Design Studio began collaborating with Blanco Modica, a leader in the textile crafts sector since 1990 and for which it designed Quinta and Primadonna, a room divider and a lamp in an Art-Deco-inspired style. The objects were displayed at the Isola Design District at the Milan Fuorisalone.
Objects conceived to take into account the dynamism of behaviours and their emotions.
BLANCO MODICA / ARTISANS OF DESIGN. Since 1990, Blanco Modica chose to give a new direction to a passion for textile craftsmanship that has grown over long years of research and commitment, launching its company and quickly becoming a sector leader.
Angelo Sanzone and Serena Favacchio are the IN SENSU / Design Studio Design team. They work at In Sensu, a studio based in the historic centre of Modica inside the nineteenth-century Palazzo Rubino Trombadore. They deal with industrial design, lighting design, and colour. Angelo holds a master's degree in lighting design from the Polytechnic University of Milan, and Serena holds a masters in product design from Florence. What unites the two designers is their attention to creating objects that take into account the dynamism of behaviours and the emotions that they arouse.
