The LEGGERA outdoor chair by Gio Ponti for Cassina brings the clarity and lightness of the original design to outdoor dining. Handcrafted in Italy with a stainless steel structure, this version offers a choice of Orbettino rope or outdoor fabric seating for a terrace, patio or garden setting.
Born from the collaboration between Gio Ponti, Cesare Cassina and Cassina's joinery experts, LEGGERA is defined by an essential structure and carefully balanced proportions. For the outdoor version, Cassina drew on a construction technique used in Formula One production, translating the character of the original chair into stainless steel.
Choose a Mud, Ivory or Green frame, then select the seating option to suit your outdoor space. Fabric options are offered in categories E, F and L. Around an outdoor dining table, LEGGERA creates a coordinated setting while leaving room to personalise the combination of frame and seat.
