The extendable dining table LONGPLANE was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Cassina and manufactured in Italy.
A fresh new design by Rodolfo Dordoni adds to the Cassina dining collection: the Longplane extendable table. Distinguished by a graphic design and striking aesthetic balance formed by crisp lines and precise proportions, its long, lean shape incorporates Cassina’s trademark fine artisan joinery skills, apparent in the joint between the legs and the massive horizontal beam. The solid wood structure, available in Canaletto walnut and natural oak, stained black or amaranth colour, effortlessly supports the ample, thin table top. Longplane adds a touch of refinement to the home, leaving room for various types of decor interpretations. Available in three different sizes, the top of the stationary version can be paired with wood legs for an all-wood look, or in an ample array of types of marble, or in the most refined metal embellished with a striated effect. In the extendable version with wood or metal top, the extensions match the finish of the wood structure; a true fusion of elegance, flexibility and functionality.
