The MISS MATCH sectional sofa, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Baleri Italia, is handcrafted in Italy.

This modular sofa consists of seven sections that can be arranged in various configurations, featuring different heights and depths in the backrest.

It has a plywood internal framework and black powder-coated steel feet. The sofa is padded with expanded polyurethane and Dacron, and it includes reinforced elastic strap webbing for added support. The fabric version comes with fully removable covers, which can be made from fabric, technical fabric, leather, artificial leather, customer-supplied leather, or customer-supplied fabric.

We present two examples of possible configurations. Please note that cushions are not included.

Claesson Koivisto Rune

The Swedish architecture studio Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in 1995 by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. Today an internationally renowned reality, it deals with both architecture and design. The first Swedish studio to exhibit in the international section of the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2004, they are also responsible for award-winning projects such as the Bergen Børs hotels, Villa Terminus & Hotel Zander K, all in Bergen, Norway; Tind Prefab house collection for Fiskarhedenvillan, Inde/Jacobs art gallery in Marfa, Texas, Widlund House private villa in Öland, Örsta Gallery building in Kumla, Sfera Building culture house in Kyoto and Nobis Hotel in Stockholm.

Claesson Koivisto Rune received the German Design Award (Gold and Silver) 2011, Designer of the Year 2011 and Furniture of the Year 2012 from Elle Deco (Sweden), both Designer of the Year and Best Seating 2014 from Elle Décor Italia, and the Red Dot Design Award - Best of the Best 2014, becoming the first office to hold a Red Dot in five different product categories. Their work is exhibited in the permanent collection of the Swedish National Museum. They collaborate with some of the most prestigious and renowned design companies for which they have signed lighting and furniture projects sold all over the world.
