Statuesque sideboard ERCOLE E AFRODITE 3 was designed by DriadeLab and was manufactured in Italy by Driade.
This modular combinable box system rests on a base made of poplar chipboard reinforced with tubular steel inserted inside, with a bleached oak finish. Structure of the containers in wooden strips, matte lacquering in white. Modules with folding wing doors. Modules with pull-out drawers and an internal tray. Front made of high-density polyurethane, lacquered in white or black.
Driade presents its Ercole e Afrodite Collection, the first project designed by Driade Lab, its research centre and creative core. Ercole e Afrodite is a storage collection featuring anthropomorphic lines with a powerful visual impact and comes in matte white or glossy black. With its unexpected combination of decorative art and historical language, Driade Lab has created low-relief designs with classic sculptured shapes that become stunning items of furnishing in an eclectic and sophisticated setting.
The containers rest on a wooden platform, available in two sizes, and are placed vertically and horizontally. Each of them is embellished with a low relief showing parts of the human body, with an evident nod to the clear-cut lines of classical statues.
