ELEPHANT 2 is an acrylic on canvas depicting an elephant and is inspired by the numerous photographic safaris that the author went on in South Africa. This painting is unique in its use of soft, subdued colours where subject and background almost blend together, yet thanks to chiaroscuro the elephant almost appears to walk out of the painting.
