The PONTI 969 dining chair set of four, designed by Gio Ponti for BBB Italia, brings stained beech wood and fabric seating to the dining room. A re-design of the original chair presented at the VI Triennale in Milan in 1936, PONTI 969 combines a distinctive design history with a coordinated set for contemporary interiors.

The twisting backrest transforms decoration into a structural feature, while the cross-section beneath the seat introduces a play of symmetry. Triangular legs flare at the top and bottom, giving PONTI 969 its distinctive character from the backrest to the base.

Choose a blue or brown stained frame and pair it with fabric seating in silver, grey, beige or brown. Arrange the four chairs around a dining table to create a setting defined by wood, upholstery and Gio Ponti's attention to individual details.

Upholstery pictured: Bilbao Fabric color Silver V3147-30, PigeonV314749, TravertineV31448, Bombay Fabric color 84.
