Warnings for Solid Cedar, Kauri and Walnut Products:
These products are entirely made of solid scented cedar, walnut or kauri wood. Any movement in the wood, little cracks and changes that might occur over time cannot be considered cause for complaint, as they are not due to imperfections in the material but rather to a natural reaction of the wood to various environmental conditions. The possible appearance of marks or little patches of mould on the surface of the product is a perfectly normal reaction of solid wood, especially after prolonged periods of storage in transport packages. Another typical characteristic of the products in solid cedar is the possible leakage of the resin that is naturally contained inside the wood, especially on the bottom of the product. Please be informed that, in order to avoid problems of spots or absorption of the resin, it is suggested not to locate products in cedarwood on carpets or soft surfaces that do not allow the ventilation of the bottom part of the item, especially during the first months after the purchasing. We also suggest to periodically move the products from their position and to keep them in a dry and well ventilated place.
