Armchair NEMO SWIVEL Lacquered, designed by Fabio Novembre and manufactured in Italy by Driade, will add an air of allure to any space.

This monobloc swivel armchair is crafted using rotational moulding and is available in either a black or red lacquered finish. It is designed for indoor use only.

Fabio Novembre uses furniture design to convey intense stories, often focusing on the human figure. The Nemo chair, for example, features a hollowed-out face that creates an inhabitable space, resembling a head-shaped armchair. Like a mask, it conceals and reveals its occupant.

Fabio Novembre

He was born in Lecce in 1966 and graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1992. In 1994 he opened his own studio which immediately became an international reference point for architecture.

Over the years, collaborations have alternated with the most important Italian design companies and his work has been recognized and published worldwide for his visionary approach.

It is very difficult to build contemporary architecture in Italy

Since 2019 Fabio Novembre is the Artistic Director of Driade, Scientific Director of Domus Academy and member of the scientific committee of the Triennale di Milano Museum of Design.
