Pasotti was founded in 1956 by Ernesta Pasotti, who worked for an umbrella factory in Milan but decided to return to the small town of Castellucchio to open her own business in a small cottage. She began producing beautiful umbrellas that she also sold directly from her scooter! "Today there is no room for such industrial production, so we downsized and primarily concentrate on limited-edition umbrellas". Pasotti distinguishes itself thanks to its creativity and continued research of exclusively Italian materials, including enamelled brass, Swarovski® crystals, handles in precious woods, and all kinds of beautiful decorations. Today, Pasotti annually produces 40,000 umbrellas that are provided to top boutiques and boasts a large foreign market, selling in 75 countries around the world. Nicola and Andrea Begotti are part of the new generation of Pasotti: they have ensured the increased popularity of the brand thanks to their interest in the world of fashion and investing in online sales. Pasotti's production of luxury umbrellas thus continues to live on, from generation to generation.
