3D printed vase resulting from a skilful mix of digital, craftsmanship, nature and design, ALMA was designed by Mediterranea Design and entirely produced in Italy.
This vase is inspired by the shape of the Caltagirone pine cone in Sicily, a symbol of life force and eternity. Alma is designed with a computational approach to design and created through additive manufacturing using the Contour Crafting methodology for the deposition of the ceramic body layer by layer.
