Little table lamp BILIA MINI was designed by Gio Ponti in 1932 and was manufactured in Italy for FontanaArte.
This lamp is all about a sphere in an apparently impossible feat: balancing on a cone that serves as its base. One of Gio Ponti’s many compositional magic tricks. The counterbalancing of two elementary geometric forms results in an original, perfectly proportioned object. An unpretentious composition, enriched by the extraordinary balance of its proportions and the stylish discretion of non-reflective materials. Light is diffused by the geometrical simplicity of the lamp's design.
This table lamp provides diffused, non-dimmable light. It has a brushed brass fitting and a satin-finish white blown glass diffuser. The power cable, switch, and plug are transparent. The lamp has a two-pole European plug. The light source is not included. Light Source 1x max 6W G9.
