HIPOO 1 is an acrylic on canvas depicting a hippopotamus and draws inspiration from the photographic safaris that the author took in South Africa. The subject and background almost blend together with soft and subdued earth tones, but thanks to chiaroscuro the hippo’s face almost seems to jump out from the painting.
Any minor differences compared to the image shown are natural and are a sign of the uniqueness of each piece, which is painted on request. Frame not included.
