Silkscreen print LA PERA is part of the "La Serie della Natura" project by Enzo Mari, master of Italian design, to create art multiples entirely made in Italy.

The subjects are images of everyday life simplified to become symbols, reproduced since 1961 in the series of serigraphs. Of these 17 subjects in 1984, some are presented in a smaller format than the original edition. Today, this format is used again, 50x70 cm, perfect for bringing these iconic screenprints even in the smallest spaces. 2-color screen printing on drop jet paper gr. 200. This print does not include the frame.

Enzo Mari

Enzo Mari, born in Novara in 1932, works in different directions, from graphics to design and architecture.

In 2002 the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic awarded him an honorary degree in industrial design.

Design is only design if it communicates knowledge

His works are exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Milan Triennale, the Schloss Charlottenburg in Berlin, the M.I.C. of Faenza, at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, and at the MoMA in New York.

For the calibre of his research, he was awarded many prizes including four Compasso d'Oro.
