I BASTIONI consists of six handcrafted and hand-decorated concentric ceramic cylinders of different diameters and heights, nested within each other. Made in Italy, this piece is part of the Milano Collection, which also includes Navigli in cool tones, and Circonvallazione in neutral tones.
The dimensions range from 13 to 38 cm in diameter and 2.5 to 8 cm in height. La Cerchia (The Circle) Collection was inspired by Milan's concentric streets, symbolising an embrace around the city. This is reflected in the reverberations of the “Circonvallazione,” echoing between Navigli's waters and the asphalt, or the remnants of Spanish walls and Bastioni.
From largest to smallest, everything is contained in one ceramic piece: bowls, plates, trays. These cylinders vary in colour and size, creating a harmonious mix of hues- cool blues like water for Cerchia Navigli, warm reds for Cerchia Bastioni, and neutral whites for Cerchia Circonvallazione. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
