Since silver, gleaming black, and leather harmoniously mix in a striking way in this one-of-a-kind jewel totally designed and handmade in Italy.
Her beautiful profile, datable around 1890, has been handset in glowing black onyx, in an octagonal shape, and sterling silver. Handmade in silver is also the clasp of the necklace. Demeter, Ceres in the ancient Roman religion, was the goddess of agriculture, grain crops, fertility, and motherly relationships, the gentle goddess that brought corn, a symbol of civilization, to the world.
