A striking small PINS table lamp was designed by La Récréation for Marioni and handcrafted in Italy.
This lamp elegantly plays with shapes to create a distinctive piece. Four ceramic spheres, glazed in a gold colour, rest upon a ceramic base, while a spherical satin glass lampshade sits atop the body of the lamp (1 x G9 Led 10W).
The golden spheres of the PINS collection are made of ceramic and decorated in M1 Ray Gold finish: gold brushed on a glazed and dripped ceramic surface, with an irregular background.
When the ceramic, brushed gold is fired, with the heat, the crystalline under the gold expands, generating the "stripes" that are characteristic of this finish, which should be considered as a typical feature of a handcrafted work and not of a mass-produced work.
The ceramic base is available in various colours.
