Purho plays with complementary shapes with the pair of Gemello and Gemella vases designed was designed by Alessandro Mendini. Sharing the same design concept, the vases play on contrasting volumes, so that the first appears more slender whilst the second has softer lines, a nod towards the male and female silhouettes.
