X2CHAIR, designed by Giorgio Caporaso for Lessmore, is a cardboard and wood chaise longue handcrafted in Italy. Part of the Ecodesign Collection, it explores sustainability through material choices, adaptable uses and changeable finishing panels.
Turn X2CHAIR upside down to switch between armchair and chaise longue, or combine two units in a sofa configuration. Compartments underneath provide storage, while a lounger pad adds comfort.
Choose Canaletto walnut, oak, red lacquered or white lacquered wood finishes. Changeable panels allow you to refresh its appearance without replacing the entire seat.
Winner of the Bronze A’ Design Award 2013 in the Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design Category, X2CHAIR is assembled entirely by hand. Slight imperfections and dimensional variations reflect its artisanal production.
