MANTRA – Cleaning, Washing, and Maintenance Instructions

Mantra felt rugs are crafted from felt panels made of 90% wool and 10% polyester.
The structure of the felt, industrially produced through a fulling process, provides hypoallergenic properties thanks to a smooth, compact surface that naturally resists trapping dust mites and dust.
Upon opening the package, unroll the rug and lay it flat. Any creases caused by compression during shipping will disappear completely either by leaving the rug laid flat or by pressing it with a household iron on a low heat setting (wool setting), protecting the soleplate with a pressing cloth.
Daily maintenance should be carried out using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
For spot cleaning (stains and spills), blot the liquid with an absorbent sponge or cloth, dab with a damp cloth using a wool-safe detergent, remove soap residue with a clean damp cloth, and pat dry without rubbing vigorously. The rug must always be dried flat.
For deep or occasional cleaning, have it professionally dry cleaned.
Any loosened stitching can be corrected by gently pulling the seam thread near the loose point using a wool or tapestry needle.
Because felt can compress over time, avoid repeatedly placing excessive weight on the same spot.
