LA BEDDA & LU TURCU (The Beauty and The Moor) are two suspension light fixtures designed by Paolo Gagliardi. These exquisite, sculpture-like lights have been handcrafted from olive wood to provide a fresh interpretation of a Sicilian tale about two ill-fated lovers.
The ceiling lamps cast light both above and below to accentuate special corners or to illuminate a dining table.
The two fixtures are presented in an elegant black Valchromat box, with sides UV-printed featuring a poem by Gaspare Gentile about the tale of the two lovers. Consequently, the packaging becomes both an elegant piece of furniture and a practical container.
