The shape of these lamps is reminiscent of the old candle holders with handles, commonly called in Italian "bugia," the simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya that supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This anecdote today also accompanies the "modern" Bugia: single- or double-light table or wall lamp, as simple as it is ingenious. Also available in the table version
