GIAN LUCA LERA

GIAN LUCA LERA
Gian Luca Lera, who originally hails from Piombino, developed his taste and passion for high fashion thanks to his experience working in his mother's shop. He honed his skills thanks to his studies and prestigious collaborations, including Bulgari, Prada and Valentino, with which he is collaborating on creating the first collection of accessories. Curiosity is fundamental to his work, as is the study of and respect for the brands he works with. Thanks to OTP – Officina Talenti Preziosi in Rome – he designed the stunning "Swing” bag, which has a classic ‘50s shape and is in vegetable-tanned leather decorated with sparkling, recycled glass decorations in a swirling movement, similar to the swarming of a school of fish in marine waters. Swing tells a story, and its surface is the palette where Gian Luca, with his decorations, creates a motif that belongs to his refined imagination and to the expertise that he has acquired.
